ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Kenya-Slovakia Open Innovation Program is a bilateral cross-border partnership initiative funded by the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC) and implemented by Sote Hub.

The program connects 10 high-potential, growth-stage Kenyan companies in Health, Agriculture, Green and Climate, Education, Software and ICT and other sectors with matched Slovak companies, universities and innovation partners, with the goal of accelerating technology transfer, trade and investment and structured business partnerships between Kenya and Slovakia.

The program is designed not as a one-off event but as the foundation of a permanent Kenya-Slovakia Innovation Bridge — a replicable bilateral model that, once proven, can be scaled to Europe and other African countries through Sote Hub's membership in AfriLabs.

Following the successful completion of the eligibility screening, selected startups are now invited to proceed with the Document Submission stage.
