An initiative by the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs

The ANDE program, an initiative by the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, aims to overcome marine plastic waste financing and scalability challenges and limited stakeholder engagement by bridging the gap between startups and government.

Our main goal was to support startups in Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale in the waste management industry by facilitating access to finance, offering technical and business development support, providing equipment for waste handling, smart waste aggregation, and value addition, and promoting public awareness and engagement.
